Bishop McEwan is an experienced pastor, preacher, teacher, and church planter. He leads with vision, keeping the big picture in mind. He has a true shepherd's heart always nurturing fellowship and worship in the congregation while being sensitive to the needs of individuals. Bishop McEwan is a facilitator drawing on the gifts and skills of the congregation. Pastoral care, evangelism, church growth and ministering to the community are all part of his agenda. He has been ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ for over forty years. In August 1990 he was ordained Bishop. He established Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Ottawa in 1969 and continued his pastorate as founder and senior Pastor for twenty-eight years until February 1997 when He launched New Covenant Apostolic Church, a federally registered Canadian non-profit Corporation. He has also been instrumental in planting churches in Cornwall and Montreal. He has ministered internationally from North America to Africa.




Lesline McEwan, B.A., M.A., C.A.M.F.

 Lesline McEwan is an anointed woman of God who has made God the centre of her life since she came to know Him as her personal saviour in 1986. 
She is married to Bishop Rudolph McEwan Sr. Pastor of New Covenant Apostolic Church, where she serves with Humility, compassion, and a heart for God’s people are traits that set her apart.     In her private life Lesline is a Psychotherapist with her own private practice located downtown Ottawa.  She holds a Master’s Degree in counselling from Saint Paul University in Ottawa, and a B.A, with a double major in Psychology and Religion from Carleton University, Ottawa.  She is also a Certified Anger Management Facilitator, and member in good standing in national and international mental health professional organizations. Involvement in the community is evidenced by her avid support of the Food Bank, and Women’s Shelters.  She is passionate about  family violence prevention.
